Automaton repair
Our workshop repairs and restores automata of any age and condition: caged songbirds, figure automata, musical boxes and mechanical curiosities. We carefully disassemble the movement, clean every part, restore losses and return the bird’s voice — the way the old masters did it.
We also work on mechanisms that seem “dead” at first glance: seized springs, torn bellows, bent cams, lost feathers and enamel. After the repair the automaton receives a written passport describing the work done.
The repair price is discussed personally after inspection of the mechanism.

- Tuning the cams: the song, head turns, wing beats
